The recent hurricane season has been extremely disastrous on the islands of the Caribbean. But there were some that did not suffer any damage. Undamaged Islands still suffer from association with potential travelers thinking the entire Caribbean was destroyed. Keep in mind that the best deals are in the off season or at the beginning and end of high season. Often the best deal is a package that includes airfare.

The nationally-ranked Oswego State men’s ice hockey team opened 2018 and the PathFinder Bank Hockey Classic with a 4-1 win over Skidmore College (1-12-1) on Friday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. With the victory, No. 4 Oswego improves to 10-2-1 on the year and advances to Saturday’s title game, scheduled for 7 p.m.

The city of Oswego has issued a boil water advisory for residents living on West Fourth Street between Erie Street and Niagara Street in the city of Oswego due to a water main break in the area.

University Police Make Motor-Vehicle Felonies Arrest

University Police at SUNY Oswego arrested Ryan R. Russell, 30, on multiple motor-vehicle felonies and other charges. The Oswego resident was charged Jan. 1 with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, both class E felonies.
