On April 29, Paws Across Oswego County will hold its 13th annual open house at Paws & Effect in Oswego. As in the past, our event will bring together local animal rescue organizations to help spread awareness about adoption and rescue. Other attractions for the day will include our silent auction, raffles, 50/50, food, demonstrations, vendors, the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department and so much more.

In 2009, the Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation, Inc., established the Memorial Brick Walkway at the site of the former Case Memorial Chapel in Mount Adnah Cemetery, on East Broadway, in Fulton. There are now 287 inscribed memorial bricks in the walkway.

The New State Police Troop D Major Crimes Unit in Oneida continues to investigate the homicide of Rudy Allen Rothberg on November 8, 1972. Mr. Rothberg, 52, of Evans Mills in Jefferson County, New York, was employed as a truck driver for Whitaker Trucking Company located in Deposit, NY.

Tamara Lynn Carvey, 21, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Oswego Hospital.
Anna Pederson, 79; of Fulton, will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, on Saturday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m.
