Madison Lang was the designated student at GRB who received the only $1,500 award, while $500 awards were given to Jacob Geitner, Bradley Martin, Mason Rowlee, Keegan Wallace, Addison Billion, Julia Guarrera and Caitlyn McAfee.

Professor Cynthia Clabough, chair of the SUNY Oswego art department, has earned the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Faculty Service, a system-wide honor recognizing her 24 years of working toward positive change on and off campus.

Convening in a monastery on the slopes of the Knockmealdown mountains in Ireland, scholars from across the globe — including sociology chair Tim Delaney of SUNY Oswego and philosophy chair Tim Madigan of St. John Fisher — met for a unique conference on the subjects of friendship and happiness.

United Way of Greater Oswego County welcomes GJP Italian Eatery Oswego as a corporate gift sponsor for its annual golf tournament. “GJP is a strong supporter of United Way,” said United Way Resource Development Director Ali McGrath. “We’re pleased that once again GJP has chosen to support our golf tournament.”
