Oswego Health Recognizes its Volunteers and Auxiliary
Oswego Health recognized its volunteers and Auxiliary members during a special luncheon held during National Healthcare Volunteer Week at Springside at Seneca Hill. Oswego Health President and CEO Michael Harlovic told the group its donated time and talents to the health system were invaluable and that they exemplified the week’s theme, Growing: Compassion, Commitment and Care.

SBA Celebrates National Small Business Week in CNY on May 2

Oswego Lions Club Craft Show Set June 10
The Oswego Lions Club with host the seventh annual River’s Edge “handmade” craft show on June 10. The event will take place at Breitbeck Park, on the west side of Oswego. A beautiful setting, where the Oswego River and Lake Ontario meet. Hours for the craft show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The month of April may have left you believing that summer is a long way off. Soon, hopefully, though, we will be able to start enjoying the outdoors, as well as the warm weather. In those travels, I hope you will be able to visit some of our local state parks.
Peaceful Remedies To Host Cor Unum Yoga
Peaceful Remedies will host a Cor Unum (One Heart) yoga class designed for those being treated for cancer or on the road of recovery. Class meets weekly, Thursdays from 4 to 5:10 p.m. and consists of breathing techniques and poses that positively impact the mind and body.
Changing Site of State of County – Disrespectful!
Going back at least 20 years (maybe even as many as 200+ years) there has never been a State of the County Address given outside the Chambers of the Legislature. It is past protocol and historical which should mean something. Chairman Shane Broadwell has decided to scrap past protocol and history and move the State of the County Address to Oswego County CiTi in Mexico on Wednesday May 2.
