Oswego Health Recognizes its Volunteers and Auxiliary

Oswego Health President and CEO Michael Harlovic told the group its donated time and talents to the health system were invaluable and that they exemplified the week’s theme, Growing: Compassion, Commitment and Care.

“For all that you do for Oswego Health, on behalf of the entire health system I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you,” he said.

The volunteers assist with many tasks at Oswego Hospital, The Manor at Seneca Hill and the Fulton Medical Center.

Those duties include patient transports, delivering the interoffice mail, assisting departments with special tasks and helping visitors, among other responsibilities.

Honored with donating the most hours at Oswego Hospital were Maurice ‘Mo” Laws, with 1,700 hours, Orlando Testi, with 690 hours and Harry Van Buren with 500 hours.

Honored from The Manor for her 30 years of volunteer service was Lisa Backus.

The hospital volunteers marking milestone years included Mary Stone and Priscilla LeClair, 30 years each; Lin Davis, 20 years; and Phyllis Price, five years.
