Gemworld 2023 Returns To Syracuse July 8-9

The Gem and Mineral Society of Syracuse (GMSS) announces that Gemworld 2023 will return to the Exposition (Expo) Center at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY on Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9. This year’s theme is “New York Rocks,” and the show will include various displays of rocks, minerals and fossils that come from the state.

Joseph F. Stevens, Sr.

Joseph F. “Joe” Stevens Sr., 87. passed away peacefully at his home in Carson, California on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Joe was born January 24, 1936 in Houston, Texas to Joseph and Mary Stevens and was a graduate of Lamar high school in 1954.
