SUNY Oswego Student Charged With Grand Larceny

OSWEGO – University Police at SUNY Oswego charged Marie Demby, 22, of West 117th Street in New York City with fourth-degree grand larceny Wednesday evening.

A student at SUNY Oswego, Demby is accused of stealing a Macintosh laptop computer from another student at 5:45 p.m. April 14 in the college’s Penfield Library.

She was arraigned in Oswego Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County jail in lieu of bail in the amount of $1,000 cash or $2,500 bail bond.

She is due to reappear in court April 21.
