OSWEGO – Oswego High School students showcased their artistic abilities during the 31st annual Feats of Clay competition held recently at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse.

Art teacher Billie Jo Peterson commended the art students, who beat the school’s own records for the coil building and pot put events from years past.
Additional categories included: cylinder stack, mug production and no hands throw.
While the pottery wheel proved to be challenging during the 2018 competition, students persevered, exhibited teamwork and had fun.
Peterson said the team will improve its ceramics skills and return next year for a stronger finish.
