Wilma M. Roy, 83; of Oswego, NY died Thursday at the home of her daughter.
She was born in Port Barn, NY and she has been a resident of the area most of her life. Mrs. Roy enjoyed working outdoors especially with her John Deere tractors. She also was an avid puzzle maker. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert E. Roy in 1995.
Mrs. Roy is survived by her daughter Paulette (Lance Wilcox) Ferington of Oswego, 4 grandchildren: Isha Matthews of Syracuse, NY, Jasen Matthews of Syracuse, NY, Brandie Hudson of Fulton, NY, and Nathan Wilcox of Oswego, NY, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held 9:00 AM Wednesday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton with Rev. Eric Harer officiating. Calling hours will be conducted Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY.
