The OCO “Retro Bowl” is the theme for the agency’s annual bowling tournament fund raiser. Set for April 5, from noon – 6 p.m. at Lakeview Lanes, this popular event will raise money to help feed the hungry throughout Oswego County.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m with an executive session and it is anticipated the board of education members and administration will return to public session at 6 p.m.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian David Nethercott introduced our exchange student from Brazil, Fabiane Fernandes da Silva. Fabiane provided a delightful and well organized presentation and video of her trip to New York City.

Applications are currently being accepted for summer jobs at Camp Hollis. Camp Hollis is a children’s residential camp owned by Oswego County and operated by the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau.

Several area residents have been named to the President’s List for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Oswego. Students who achieve grade averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale are named to the President’s List, the top 7.7 of Oswego students.

Leah A. Weiss of Oswego has been named to the Dean’s List at Western New England for the fall semester of 2013. Weiss is majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.
