SUNY Oswego dance instructor Cheryl Wilkins-Mitchell will unveil original choreography and Rob Auler will play a specially prepared piano on Oct. 27, in a 100th birthday salute to the late John Cage, a provocative and inventive rebel who transformed modern music.

A fundraiser will be held at the Fajita Grill at both Oswego and Fulton locations on October 23. It will benefit the Oswego County Autism Task Force.

There is plenty going on at the church for the next few months. All activities are free unless otherwise arranged.

Chris Doyle of Coxsackie, NY, and professional angler and Outdoor Channel TV host Joe Thomas, enjoyed a day of salmon fishing on the Oswego River during the Wear It! Oswego Fish with a Pro event.

The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Oswego County’s Black & Blue Masquerade Gala will offer attendees a little extra sparkle thanks to DuFore’s for Diamonds in Oswego.

When “The Kitchen Witches” is performed at the Church of the Resurrection this month, two strong actresses will be facing off as TV celebrity chefs in a contest of wills. The show is co-sponsored by the church and the Oswego Players as a fundraiser for both groups.
