Fulton city lawmakers are poised tonight to vote to ignore the state’s limit on tax levy increases, even though the budget they will approve is well below the limit.

Members of Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus Rotaract Club recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a donation in support of the agency’s food pantry.
This year the Fitzhugh Park Elementary family helped 54 families and 142 children to brighten the holiday season. Principal Donna Simmons, Therese McAdams, Nurse Mary Ann Murray, Blake Adkins from Novelis and Alison Adkins of FPS Home and School helped pack boxes with holiday items.
The OHS Inc. students of Oswego High School completed their Hats & Mittens drive for the needy as part of the civic action component of their class. Together they gathered 670 hats, mittens and scarves for the Salvation Army in time for Christmas
