As part of United Way Night, representatives from the SUNY Oswego Athletic Department invited representatives from the United Way of Greater Oswego County to take part in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the SUNY Oswego Lakers Women’s Ice Hockey game Nov. 5.

Ashley Cowden, who works for the Riverview Wellness Center, talked to the members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about nutrition. The center was opened in 2002 by Ashley’s mother. At Thursday’s meeting, she told the Rotarians that “when we feel good we can be at our best.”
