County Looks at Tax Options for Nuclear Plants

For many years I have heard people talking about the taxes paid by our nuclear plants. Many have asked what is happening now that the plants’ tax agreements are getting close to the end. So I thought I’d give everyone an update, and write about the pros and cons of placing the plants on the tax rolls, versus entering into a tax agreement with the plants’ owners.

Quirk’s Players To Present The Sound Of Music Beginning Thursday

The Sound of Music is one of the most beloved musicals of all time. Set in Austria during the late 1930’s, the musical tells the story of Maria Rainer, a postulant at Nonnberg Abbey who is sent to be governess to the Von Trapp Family. Featured in Bodley High School’s production of The Sound of Music are a combination of veteran and new actors.
