Late-Night Shopping Rescheduled For Friday
The weather didn’t cooperate Dec. 11, so a group of local merchants have rescheduled the late-night shopping event. It will now be held this Friday (Dec. 18).

Fulton Beats Pulaski For First Swim Win In A Year
For a team that spends every day in the water, it’s been a long, dry spell for Fulton’s swimmers.
The boys varsity team went winless all of last season and dropped the first meet of this season to powerhouse J-D/CBA last week.
But the team found a reason to cheer Tuesday, beating Pulaski 90-83 for its first victory of the year.

Fulton Aldermen Enact New Budget Amidst Discussion of Police and Fire Overtime Costs
Fulton City Aldermen Tuesday approved a budget for 2010 that raises spending about $100,000 but contains no tax increase.
“When you consider that over the past six years, our city has suffered the loss of the Nestle Company, the Fulton Cogeneration Company and the A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital most recently, I feel we are fortunate to have been able to keep taxes as stable as they have been,” Mayor Ron Woodward said in a brief address at the start of the public hearing on the budget.

County’s Last P&C Could Become A Price Chopper Soon
There’s only one P&C Foods store left in Oswego County, after the chain closed its Fulton and Oswego stores in the last year. The store is in Pulaski, and there’s news that the store and 21 others could be sold to Price Chopper as part of P&C’s bankruptcy.

Humane Society Holds “Tail Sale” To Find Homes For The Holidays For Pets
On Saturday, December19th from 11 to 2 pm the Oswego County Humane Society will hold its final “Home 4 the Holidays” Adoption Day at the Tractor Supply Company, Rt. 104 East, Oswego, New York. Cats and kittens and adult dogs will be available for adoption and every pet older than four months will have its adoption fee reduced by half for that day only. Porky and Buddy, the Humane Society’s official mascots will be there to entertain kids (of all ages) and there will be coffee and cookies and treats for children.
