SUNY Oswego’s Metro Center Opens Exhibition Space In Downtown Syracuse

SUNY Oswego recently opened its summer exhibition “Visual Journals: Recent Work by Amy Bartell, Cynthia Clabough, Paul Pearce, Cara Brewer Thompson. The public is invited to a reception to meet the artists on Thursday, September 18, 2008, 5:00-8:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

In the past week the Disaster Action Team of the American Red Cross has responded to three fires in Oswego County.  We were able to provide assistance in the form of temporary shelter as well as food and clothing.  Did you ever wonder where the money comes from that allows the Red Cross to provide this assistance to disaster victims?

Birds Eye Foods Supports Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry

</p>The Birds Eye Foods Foundation recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a check in support of Catholic Charities food pantry. Birds Eye Foods in Fulton recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a check in support of the agency’s food pantry.  Each year the food pantry at Catholic Charities of Oswego County feeds thousands of families and distributes hundreds of Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to those in need.
