On Thursday (November 15) at 9:35 a.m., deputies charged Melissa J. Webster, 36, of 280 Cherry St., Apt. 1, Oswego, with Welfare Fraud, 3rd degree and Grand Larceny, 3rd degree, both class D felonies.

The “Good Neighbor Award” was an award program created by Mayor Barlow to recognize homeowners in the city of Oswego who take exceptional pride in their property by caring for their yard, demonstrating care of their property or fully restoring a dilapidated structure or building.

Mayor Billy Barlow is pleased to announce the promotion of Police Lieutenant Zachary Misztal to the rank of Deputy Police Chief. Misztal, a 15-year veteran of the Oswego City Police Department, has served as a Lieutenant with the department since 2013 and was most recently assigned as the Criminal Investigations Division Commander for the department.
