Syracuse Man Charged With Violating An Order Of Protection

State Police arrested Chad Chapman, 33, from Syracuse, for Criminal Contempt 1st degree, a class “E” felony and Harassment 2nd degree, a violation, following a domestic incident that occurred Sunday in the Village Green Community parking lot. He is accused of violating an Oswego County Family Court Order of Protection during a altercation with the protected party.

DeWitt Murder-Robbery Suspect Arrested in Fulton

A Syracuse man who allegedly killed two Chili’s Restaurant workers during a robbery at the Shoppingtown Plaza, DeWitt, business on Saturday was reportedly captured and arrested early today in Fulton. William D. Wood Jr., 32, was arrested at about 1 a.m., according to a report by the DeWitt Police Department.

Assault Victim Dies, Investigation Continues

Victim Identified
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim of an assault that occurred Monday at 347 Breckheimer Road, town of West Monroe. The deceased victim has been identified as Robert Diffin, 42, of 347 Breckheimer Road. At about 11:23 a.m. today (September 10), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were sent to 347 Breckheimer Road in West Monroe to assist emergency medical services. The victims were transported by Menter Ambulance to University Hospital At about 2:25 p.m., one of the victims was pronounced dead.

Mexico Man Arrested For Allegedly Destroying American Flags In Cemetery

State Police said today (September 6) they have arrested Dylan Ackerman, 26, from Mexico, for Criminal Mischief 4th degree (A-misdemeanor), Criminal Tampering 3rd degree (B-misdemeanor) and Trespass (violation). On August 19, State Police responded to 3260 State Route 11 in the town of Mexico for a criminal mischief in progress complaint at the Mapleview Cemetery.
