A tentative agreement between the city and town of Oswego regarding connecting the Ontario Heights Sewer District into the Oswego City sewer system was heavily debated at Monday night’s Administrative Services Committee. However, after nearly two hours of talk, the issue remains unresolved. The committee took no action.
The New York Lottery today (Dec. 5) announced a top prize winning ticket for the December 4 TAKE 5 drawing was sold at Byrne Dairy at 3739 Route 13 in Pulaski. The winning ticket is worth $19,393.50.
Toys For Tots of Oswego County will hold its annual Tunes For Tots this month. The event will take place December 14 at The American Foundry, 246 W. Seneca St. from 5 to 10 p.m. Toys For Tots’ sole purpose is to provide brand new unwrapped, non-violent toys and new books to the many children of the community.

Syracuse Hancock International Airport announced that it has teamed with PAWS of CNY, Inc. to offer a Pet Therapy Program at the airport. The program, which is called the SYR Pets Easing Travelers Program is designed to help ease the stress of the traveling public and their loved ones.
On Tuesday, November 29, at approximately 3:40 a.m., State Police arrested 18-year-old Calyx A. Estep from 32 State Route 49, Cleveland, and 21-year-old Jordan T. Garrett, from 2284 County Route 37, Lot #66, West Monroe, for Robbery 2nd degree, a class “C” felony.
