Libby is a petite black and white cat about one and a half years old. She is small but has a big “purrsonality.” She loves to stand on her hind legs and welcome her people home. When her foster mom comes downstairs to play with her, she stands up and swipes her paw from the top of her head then out to her mom . . . almost like she’s saluting.

They have begun to develop and will implement strategies and policy changes that are focused on reducing identified risk factors and increasing identified protective factors. Pair Charged In Connection With Early Morning Robbery

The victim, a male in his mid 20s, reported that he was jumped by two men who beat him and then stole his phone and cash. Initial investigation revealed suspects whose vehicle was stopped by responding New York State Police unit. After further investigation and interviews, two men were arrested and charged in the robbery.

Between being a wife, mother and teacher, Carolyn LaRoche has somehow found the time to become a published author. She was born in Rochester and relocated to Fulton when she was 10, and still has family in Central New York. At the old Philips Street School, Mrs. Konowich introduced her to the city’s storytelling contest and in high school, Len Seneca’s journalism class increased her desire to write. With one book out, a second due out shortly and a third “in edits,” she is working on two different series.

Oswego School Budget Plans Waiting On State Action

Superintendent Ben Halsey said that while “building the revenue side of the budget” there is no assistance from the State of New York. Governor Andrew Cuomo is not allowing “running the numbers” for state aid. This “run” usually allows school district officials to commence budget planning, but it appears that Albany isn’t going to run the preliminary state aid numbers until the budget is in place. “We are left out in the dark while the political games plays out,” Halsey said.
