The new law establishes a permit process regarding demonstrations at funeral event in accordance with state laws. The law prohibits demonstrations within 1,000 feet of the funeral or memorial event (measured from the main entrance), from one hour prior to one hour after the event is completed without first securing a permit.

A New Haven homeowner is unaccounted for following a fire at a County Route 64 home tonight (Jan. 5). The fire was reported at around 5 p.m. As of 10 p.m., the homeowner was still unaccounted for.
At 5:19 a.m. today (Jan. 5), the Oswego Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 6 W. Eighth St. It was confined to one room. No injuries were reported.
Looks like we get a break from the snowfall for a few days.
The average temperature for December 2011 was 35.1 degrees. That is 5.4 degrees warmer than average. For the winter (up to the end of December) the total snowfall is 9.5 inches – a whopping 33.5 inches below normal.
