An attempt by the Oswego City School District to add one more period of instructional time appears to be headed back to the bargaining table after the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court rules against the district.

And, law enforcement agencies gathered in Oswego to train with high-tech equipment to detect radiological material before it can be used in a weapon by would-be terrorists.
Also in August, the little girl who contracted the Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus died from the disease. Residency restrictions were placed on Oswego’s out-of-town landlords. The city budget was approved and the farmers’ market goes smoke-free.
