Operation Safe Stop 2010 Deemed A Success

The purpose of the program isn’t to punish drivers. The mission is to educate them about the importance of not passing a stopped school bus – anywhere. Even though Operation Safe Stop has ended, we still plan to continue our aggressive enforcement of observed violators, the police chief said.

Oswego School Board Approves 2010-11 Budget

The school board voted 5-2 to adopt the 2010-11 budget plan.  Voters will have their say on May 18.

The voters get to have their say on the $74.8 million spending plan on May 18. There is no tax levy increase and no schools will be closed.
