Fire Damages Oswego Home; Dog Saved
The Oswego Fire Department responded to a structure fire Wednesday evening at 78 E. Fifth St. There were no injuries reported. A dog inside the home at the time of the fire was brought to a veterinarian. The cause of the blaze was said to be food left cooking on the stove.

Jury Continues To Deliberate Jones’ Fate
The jury in the Alan Jones murder case deliberated for four hours Wednesday afternoon without reaching a verdict. They will resume deliberations Thursday morning reviewing evidence and several testimonies as well.
