Girls Who Code Aims To Increase Number of Women In Tech Jobs

“Girls Who Code” is a national non-profit organization aimed at closing the gender gap in technology by offering girls in grades six to 12 the opportunity to explore coding in a fun environment. Computing is where the tech jobs are and will be, yet girls are getting left behind, with only one in five computer science graduates being women.

Trinity Catholic School to Celebrate Catholic Schools Week with Service Projects and Celebrations

Trinity Catholic School, as one of 22 Catholic schools within the Diocese of Syracuse, will once again celebrate Catholic Schools Week, January 28 – February 3. Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States, said Barbara Sugar, principal. On a designated day during Catholic Schools Week, schools in all four regions of the diocese will focus on giving back to their communities.
