The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, through the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board today (Sept. 18) announced that free child car seat inspections are available to parents and caregivers during weeks September 18 – 30 in Oswego County.

In the fall of 2013, nine health and human service organizations organized to form the Oswego County Falls Prevention Coalition. With the vision that “We will create a fall free Oswego County and support healthy aging by preventing falls through education and awareness”, the coalition applied for and received funding from the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York.
Mount Pleasant Grange #349 Waffle Breakfast will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, from 7:30 – 11 a.m. This month’s topping is peaches. Breakfast also includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, juice and coffee.
