While current Fulton Junior High School eighth graders won’t become high school freshmen until the fall, the transition from FJHS to G. Ray Bodley High School has already begun. Riders, Runners and Community Members To Gather in Support of Oswego County Ramp Program

The annual ARISE and Ride for Ramps event will take place on June 3 at Lighthouse Lanes in the City of Oswego. The event offers something for the whole family: a 5K walk/run, motorcycle ride, music and great food. The day will start at 9:30 a.m. with an exciting 5K run/walk around the famous Oswego Speedway.

Legislator Farfaglia and Commander Young Donate American Flags to Oswego County Schools.

Just in time for Memorial Day celebrations later this month and the Flag Day holiday in June, some Oswego County schools are receiving some brand new American Flags due to the efforts of a local veteran and a member of the County Legislature. Commander John Young of the American Legion Post 587 and Legislator Dan Farfaglia teamed up this year to assist school districts that were in need of new American Flags.

Thompson: Let The People Decide, Not the Committee

As a Republican candidate for the District 15 seat on the Oswego County Legislature, I was invited to attend the Oswego City Republican Committee endorsement meeting. My opponent, Nathan Emmons, is a committee member as is Mayor Billy Barlow and council members Shawn Walker, John Gosek Jr., and Robert Corradino. I knew going in that the committee would endorse my opponent, and they did.
