Under the guidance of librarian Morgan Gaulrapp, seventh and eighth graders are immersing themselves in a computer programming class. The course started with lessons about coding and has evolved into a full-blown robotics experience.
Citing the organization’s vision to develop competent, capable and caring leaders through service, club advisor Kenny Greenleaf applauded the new inductees and current members for their contributions.

As part of a yearlong effort to pay tribute to injured servicemen and women, Phoenix students have raised $500 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Members of the John C. Birdlebough High School Student Council adopted the Wounded Warrior Project as its charitable cause for the year.
