The color purple symbolizes National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Hannibal school community donned purple outfits Oct. 22 to help bring attention to the issue.
The culmination of spirit week at Pulaski High School included an academic kickoff and a competitive pep fest. Principal Michael Bateson recognized academic and personal achievement during the academic kickoff.

Six students from Pulaski were selected to participate in the annual Honors Choir Festival at Roberts Wesleyan College. The students included: Jared Dana, Casey Harkelroad, Sarah McCray, Audrey Monson, Tessa Powlin and Brittany VanDuzer.
The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Drama Department will present the outrageously funny performance of “Mama Won’t Fly” on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Junior/Senior High School Auditorium.
On November 7, the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party will take place in the Marano Campus Center food court. The event will start at noon and continue until 2:30 p.m. or when finished. The event is free and open to the public.
Michaud Residential Health Services’ Jennifer Callen is a recipient of a 2015 LeadingAge New York Long Term Care Employee of Distinction Award. Callen, who has been with Michaud for 16 years, works in the Activities Department at the healthcare residence.
