A local family is rallying community support as they prepare for a 5K at Walt Disney World to benefit type 1 diabetes research. Oswego native Sarah McCrobie, 30, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2, will participate in the JDRF Marathon Weekend at Epcot on Jan. 7.
Recently, the question of the sales tax agreement between the city of Fulton and the county of Oswego was questioned in a committee. It started as a question and has blown up into this movement to re-arrange or cancel this agreement. I cannot begin to explain how this discussion went from questions to the misrepresentation of now the County Legislative body is going to revoke the sales tax agreement with the city of Fulton.
Eight incoming freshmen participated in the Summer Institute, an intensive two-week program that focused on building skills in the four primary subject areas: math, science, English and social studies.

Nurses from the St. Luke Health Services Adult Day Health Care Program will offer free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings during the Oswego Farmers’ Market on August 13 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The screenings will be offered at the St. Luke bus, near the Civic Plaza.
