Mark Bender, a Public Safety and Justice instructor and full-time New York State Trooper, brought in his patrol dog, Mandin, to show specific scenarios in which law enforcement officials may implement the help of a K-9 unit.
Ted Long and Amy Robbins from 93Q WNTQ radio station in Syracuse visited Fairley Elementary in Hannibal for their annual celebration day. The celebration day serves as a reward to the students for all of their hard work throughout the year. The day is complete with fun outdoor games, competitions and face painting.
The Fulton Youth Team Tennis League will start accepting registrations for players ages 13-19. Players are assigned to a team for six regular matches, a semi-final match and championships.

Thirty young adults with Bike & Build Inc., a national non-profit committed to affordable housing, are bicycling into Palermo on their journey across the United States. The cyclists, as part of the Northern US route, are traveling from Portsmouth, NH to Vancouver, BC to raise money and awareness for affordable housing causes.
At the end of each sports season the New York State Public High School Athletic Association honors those teams that excel in the classroom. To achieve this academic honor, a percentage of the team’s roster must have an average of 90% or greater.
The Pulaski High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 21 new members in a special ceremony held at the school. More than just an academic award, the NHS induction criteria includes exemplary character, scholarship, leadership and service.
