Sandy Creek Elementary School students tested their knowledge and practiced their skills during a recent contest that challenged students in every class to complete the most problems. As part of a pizza party contest, each class tried to complete the most problems in their grade level on IXL, which is an innovative tool that promotes learning through the use of technology.

Dillon Students Rewarded For Excellence In Physical Education

Each student that was presented with a Student of the Month award was called down to the school’s gym to participate in the celebration, which included assorted games and snacks. During the celebration, one boy and one girl from each grade level was also selected as the EJD PE Student of the Year.

The Bi-Partisan Minority Conference in the Oswego County Legislature suggests replacing a “temporary” employee. Last Year when Mark See (the county’s Chief Accountant) decided to retire after more than a quarter century of service, it was our hope that his replacement would be just as qualified and competent.
