“Santa’s helpers” are busy at St. Luke Health Services, making sure there will be plenty of specially wrapped gifts for residents to be found under the Christmas tree this year! A contingent of volunteers spent hours upon hours wrapping over eight hundred presents that will be gifted to residents at one of the many family Christmas parties taking place during the coming week.
On December 7, Larry Backus, Chief of the Scriba Fire Department, welcomed eighteen Rotary exchange students to the fire station. They enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the role of the volunteer fire fighter in our community, the training involved and the equipment used at fire and accident scenes.

UPDATE: Two residents of 98 E. Cayuga St. Oswego are under arrest following an investigation into a possible Meth lab in Oswego. It is the second such investigation within a week.
Technology classes at the Fulton Junior High School are in for a real jolt! Starting in January eighth grade students will be building robots. The unit in Robotics will span 10-weeks and is part Gateway to Technology, a nationwide feeder program for Project Lead the Way.
he New York State Public High School Athletic Association has recognized eight Fulton Fall Athletic Teams through the Scholar/Athlete Team Award Program. To receive this award the team average must be 90 percent or higher during the season.
The National Honor Society Chapter at G. Ray Bodley High School offers free academic assistance to students at the school through a tutoring program. The peer-assistant program is managed by NHS member volunteers and is offered three days per week.
Students and their families came with their blankets and lawn chairs to eat popcorn and watch Monsters University.
