The entire student body united in the auditorium to sing “You Can Count on Me” prior to Interim Principal Michael Egan recognizing one student from each classroom for exemplifying the character trait of gratitude. In addition to the classroom role models, 22 students were awarded certificates for being “On A Roll” models.

Local Law Enforcement Agencies Will Receive Equipment to Make Video Recordings of Statements

The Oswego County District Attorney’s Office has been awarded $11,708 in state funds to help local law enforcement agencies purchase equipment for video recording of statements. The project is overseen by the state Division of Criminal Justice Services and is intended to help law enforcement efforts and prosecution outcomes by videotaping interviews and interrogations.

Masonic War Veterans show their thanks on Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving morning, Masonic War Veterans Post 43 visited the VA Hospital in Syracuse to present gift baskets filled with special items of treats and needed items of hats, mittens and hand-knitted or crocheted lap blankets along with socks, gloves, sundries, T-shirts, and more to approximately 130 male and female patients, all who have served our country.
