Why is that important? Because, after years spent earning its reputation as the “most dysfunctional” government in America, Albany is starting to show it can get the job done.

When organizers for the most recent Oswego County Academic Youth (OCAY) League Competition posed the question, “what can be done to fix America’s educational system?” they were met with a myriad of solutions, many of which may have surprised them.
Chengdu was not on our list of “Gotta’ Visit Someday” but we saw a full-page advertisement in Air Asia airline encouraging people to visit Chengdu to see the Panda Breeding and Research Center. So we included it on our itinerary.
DuFore’s For Diamonds in Oswego is adding some sparkle to this year’s “Bundle of Bucks” raffle event. Dufore’s has donated a sterling silver bracelet, to be awarded at the raffle drawing event on May 19 at the Oswego Elks Lodge.
The National Committee for Quality Assurances announced that Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc. has received Level III (highest) Recognition from the Physician Practice Connections – Patient Centered Medical Home program for using evidenced-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term participative relationships.
