MACS was evaluated on 168 health and safety criterion and earned the highest level of distinction, the titanium award, from the Utica National School Safety Excellence Awards Program.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students much have an academic average between 3.5 and 4.0.

The Fulton Elks will be serving fish dinners (and other choices) every Friday through April 6. Serving will be from 5 – 7 p.m. in the lodge hall at 57 Pierce Drive. Dinners are open to the public and takeouts are available.

By the time she was a senior majoring in biology at Nazareth College, Margaret (Peg) Kolenda realized working with Petri dishes wasn’t what she wanted to do as a career. And after taking on a job as a nursing assistant at a nursing home in the Rochester area, she found her passion.
