Oswego To Host NCAA First, Second Rounds

One winning ticket was purchased at the Happy Valley Inn at 1628 State Route 69 in Parish. The other, a Hot Cash scratch-off ticket, was purchased at the Pit Stop at 433 County Route 3 in Fulton.
The Oswego High School boys’ hockey team could not have picked a better time to have one of the best games of the year. On Saturday, at the Utica Auditorium the Oswego High School Bucs dominated Skaneateles with a 5-0 win enroute to the Section III Division II Championships.
Four Lakers earned top six finishes at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference Championships hosted by Brockport, leading Oswego State to 36 points and a seventh-place finish in the eight-team meet.
“Our local municipalities can handle many major winter storms on their own by putting resources in place early and working together,” Emergency Management Office Director Patricia Egan said. “This exercise encouraged them to test their local plans and see what changes they may need to consider.”

We have been to Hong Kong many times. It is a wonderful place to spend a few days recuperating after a 16-hour flight. This time, we decided to check out Hong Kong’s Lantau Island instead of going into the city center. Lantau Island is called “The Lungs of Hong Kong” because it is so green.
