Samantha Muller of Oswego, a sophomore majoring in business studies, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester at Clarkson University. Dean’s List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
Stephanie Goodell of Panther Lake, NY, was inspired to pursue a nursing career after her younger brother was injured in serious car accident and she learned to care for him during his rehabilitation.

Superintendent Joseph A. D’Amico has promoted Casey L. Gray, 43, of Pulaski, Oswego County to First Sergeant and assigned him to Troop D Headquarters in Oneida.
His essay, “The Strongest Belief is Found in Yourself,” was selected to be featured on the “This I Believe” web site and National Public Radio.
On Tuesday, February 14, students and staff at Altmar Elementary School in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District celebrated more than just Valentine’s Day. They celebrated 100 days of learning.
