MEXICO, NY – A long time dining destination located at 144 Academy St. in the Village of Mexico, the Eis House Lodge is now operating under new ownership.

A team of four siblings, Chrissy Mason, Debbie Ferris, Jason Allers and Tim Aller, all natives of Mexico; will carry on the tradition of fine dining and lodging, bringing fresh ideas to the popular establishment.

The group always enjoyed patronizing the Eis House, and knew that running the business would be a challenge that they would all be able to step up and meet.

“This was always our go to place,” Debbie Ferris said.

Chrissy Mason said that acquiring ownership was a nine month process, with the keys being given to them on November 22, 2022; also saying that working through the process and running the business with her siblings has been a lot of fun.

According to Jason Allers, the time seemed right to make the move, with the combined strengths of the four covering all of the bases needed to run the multi-faceted business.

“I have been in this industry in some form for the last twenty five years; managing restaurants in downtown Syracuse, as well as insuring restaurants all over Central New York,” Jason Allers said.

The restaurant and lodge formerly an ice house that stored block ice harvested from the adjacent Little Salmon River, has been a staple in the central Oswego County dining scene for many years, hosting weddings, banquets and a plethora of other large gatherings.

The businesses reputation of excellent hospitality has drawn patrons to the small village from all over the Northeast.
