The open house will give community members a chance to tour the assisted living residence and learn about the services and amenities residents enjoy there. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the various levels of care and services available, and learn why St. Francis Commons is, “supportive living, made easy.”
Each of the three ceremonies May 13 in SUNY Oswego’s 156th Commencement in Marano Campus Center arena will welcome a featured speaker. Bell discussed the functions of the office, including enforcement of NYS Building Code, issuing and verifying valid permits, answering code violation complaints and code compliant inspections, among other responsibilities.
The Oswego County Department of Solid Waste will hold Tire Amnesty Days May 13 and June 17 at the county transfer stations. Normal tire disposal fees will be waived.
The Fulton Music Association’s 20th Annual Celebration of Community Music will be presented on May 13 at 7 at the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium. This year’s concert is dedicated to the memory of Jordan Spier, 24, who lost his life in a February plane crash.
As the college’s chief academic officer, Furlong will be responsible for leadership of all instructional and academic programs across the college, including Oswego’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, and School of Communication, Media and the Arts.
April was child abuse prevention month. In recognition of that the Child Care & Development Council, a division of Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County, Inc., collaborated with Happy Hearts Child Care Center to plant a pinwheel garden with the help of its director, Robin Walker.

The Oswego YMCA will participate in this year’s River’s Edge Craft Show by doing a Fun Jungle Adventure Obstacle course along with a fun craft and a healthy snack for the children’s zone.
