The event is a community effort featuring Canale’s spaghetti; meatballs courtesy of Bosco’s and Davis Meats; Garafolo’s Italian bread; and salad provided by C’s Farms.

Judy Young, chair of the Student Activities Committee, introduced Trey LaRock, a senior from G. Ray Bodley High School, a student who excels in academic achievement, school participation and service to the community.

A free public reception for the 2016 Art Faculty Exhibition at SUNY Oswego will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 18, at the newly upgraded Tyler Art Gallery. The free exhibition by faculty of the college’s art department will run Nov. 11 to 22 at the gallery.

The event is being offered for parents and guardians who would like to enjoy a night during the holiday season to get some shopping done, all while their children are being cared for in a warm environment.

Members of the student body recently collected funds to donate directly to the hospital for the purchase of activities, personal hygiene items and treats for veterans.

Paul V. Moore High School Student Government members will help save as many as 270 lives. That is because they hosted a blood drive that received the support of 90 teachers and students; one pint of blood can save as many as three people’s lives.
