Free Healthy Living Classes Offered at Oswego Hospital

On April 16, at the Ellisburg Methodist Church, 4618 NYS Route 289, Ellisburg, NY, author Lisa Buske will share a message, built from her personal story, of how people can embrace the tragedies of life as opportunities for growth.
Open auditions for the upcoming Oswego Players’ production of “Way Down East” will be held on March 13 and 14 from 7 -9 p.m. in the Frances Marion Brown Theater in the Oswego Civic Arts Center.
The Fulton Lions Club has already sold more than 600 tickets for its annual “Lion’s Loot” drawing, leaving less than 400 left for purchase. “The chance of winning up to $10,000 is quickly coming to an end, and last year we sold out,” said Ron Browning, co-chair.
Rudy’s Lakeside Drive-in will launch this year’s Oswego County Salvation Army’s Guest Chef Dinners with a sampling of their favorite foods on March 15, with dining room and takeout service from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include some of Rudy’s popular sea foods and summer fare.
The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on March 20, serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will be roast pork, rice, gravy, vegetable and bread. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.
Open to youth ages 8 through 14, Camp Hollis offers a week-long summer residential camp experience for 9- to 14-year-olds and an overnight experience for 8-year-olds, complete with swimming, nature hikes, games, campfires, arts and crafts and many more activities.
