The art department at SUNY Oswego will offer “At the Art Studio,” a workshop series for children and young adults, Dec. 28 to 30 in art department facilities on campus.

W-I-N-N-E-R-S! Lanigan Elementary students Mary Jane Mullaney, Alicia Halsdorf, Rimma Mankiewicz and Harper McClave received top honors during the school’s fourth annual spelling bee held December 9.

Holiday spirit and enchanted melodies filled the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium during the school’s Holiday Choral Concert on December 10. The 47-member women’s choir performed traditional carols, a Spanish lullaby and the jazz-infused piece “What Child is This?”

On December 5, five Rotary clubs, Baldwinsville, Fulton Noon and Sunrise, Oswego Noon and Sunrise gathered at the Battle Island Restaurant for a district Christmas party.
