Oswego County Opportunities’ recently presented longevity awards to staff of OCO Education Services for 5 years of loyal service to OCO and its consumers.
This years’ event, to be held on November 14 beginning at 8 a.m., will see 24 teams from all across Central New York come together to compete in the 2015 Trash Trek Challenge.
Community members are invited to meet the staff and tour the renovated offices of Oswego Health’s Primecare Medical Practice during an open house to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. October 21. To meet the needs of the growing practice, the Primecare offices have been expanded to include more patient comforts.
Lakeside Christian Ministries, a Fulton based church and ministry organization, will celebrate its second anniversary with a special party and potluck luncheon on Oct. 18, from noon – 3 p.m.
On Oct. 18, a pancake breakfast will be held at Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 at 765 E. Seneca St., Oswego, from 8 a.m. to noon. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.

The new SUNY Labs to Jobs Consortium will establish a “Smart Health” Biomedical and Health Informatics Research Lab and a Biomedical Instrumentation Teaching Lab for SUNY Oswego as well as provide additional equipment for the college’s Advanced Wireless Systems Research Center.

The open house provided parents and teachers the opportunity to discuss classroom curriculum, and provided students the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned throughout the first month of school.
