The new 2016 Oswego Lighthouse calendars are now on sale at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum. The 12-month calendars are $20. Proceeds support the lighthouse restoration project.

The July 17 application deadline for Oswego Youth Court is fast-approaching. Training will be held July 27 to 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oswego City Hall. The program is open to all Oswego County students who are in grades 7 through 12.

Auditions for Oliver, rehearsals for Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and Dessert Theatre just for fun take place onstage at CNY Arts Center located at 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga Community College campus in Fulton.
The first Oswego Harborfest event of the year will be the annual Children’s Gala, sponsored by SUNY Oswego Office of Business and Community Relations, in Breitbeck Park on July 21, at 6 – 7:30 p.m.
The competition is a last call for submissions to solicit transformational project ideas and identify businesses poised for growth that would stimulate private investment, create well-paying jobs and sustain economic progress in the region.
Local residents are continuing to receive direct mail solicitations from companies offering to provide deed reports and other information for $83, when the information is readily available through Oswego County government offices, County Clerk Michael Backus said.
There will be an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on August 16 from 9 a.m. until noon. It will benefit the daily care of the herd at Sunshine Horses, Inc.
