Canine and courageous, the show is an upside-down vision of the world: seeing life from a dog’s point of view.
Port City Faith in Oswego will host a fundraising banquet for world missions on July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at 436 W. Fifth St.
The reorganization meeting for the Oswego Board of Education will be held on July 1. It will get under way at 9 a.m. in the Board Room at the Education Center, 120 E. First St., Oswego.
The screening will take place on July 14 at the State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State St. in Fulton, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The bone density screening is open to the public and free of charge.
The Oswego YMCA’s 27th Annual 5k Run/Walk, 10k Run and the river’s end bookstore Kids’ Fun Run will take place Harborfest weekend on July 25. The 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run event will begin at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Oswego YMCA’s Armory with the finish at the city of Oswego’s Civic Plaza.

We received an email from the ASPCA this morning and decided to pass it along to you in its entirety. It’s something that we did not know about a plant that you can buy here in Oswego County now, the Sago Palm. It’s a nice looking plant, but, unfortunately, deadly to pets.
