The following students have been named to the Dean’s List at Le Moyne College for the 2015 Spring Semester. To be named to the list, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Tau Phi Zeta recognizes the academic achievement, scholarship, leadership, character and professional excellence of students in the college’s veterinary medicine programs. To qualify for induction, students must achieve at 3.5 GPA and demonstrate a love of animals.

St. Stephen’s Church, 140 Niagara St., Oswego will hold its annual Polish Festival on August 9 from noon until 7 p.m. Polish and American food, games of skill and chance for all ages will be available.

The Oswego County Legislature’s Public Safety Committee presented Karen Fuller with a certificate of appreciation for her 36 years of service to the county.

Magic in Minetto, in conjunction with Canal Splash, will be held on August 8 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mnettto River View Park, County Route 48. Magic is a fun, family event which features music, food, kids’ crafts, face painting and ice cream as well as a bouncy hut.

Making sure that children receive all their vaccinations on time is one of the most important things a parent can do to ensure their children’s long-term health, as well as the health of friends, classmates, and others in the community.

Campers and counselors at Camp Hollis recently welcomed members of the Oswego County Legislature to enjoy a hearty lunch and musical performances at the lakeside campus.
