Library Learning Center Offers 3-Part eBay Class in July

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H Program is still accepting donations for fabric and other sewing items for its August fabric sale. The Oswego County 4-H Program will be accepting donations for this fabric sale until July 31.
The library will feature daily children’s programs for each weekday as well as special programs with the Dancing Bear Puppet Theater, the Everson Museum of Art, Tails and Tales Story Time, the Cornell University Cooperative Extension/ 4-H partnership, the Watertown Sci-Tech Center, and a finale event featuring local storytellers and musicians.
Lura M. Sharp Elementary School recently held its annual awards ceremony to recognize students for their academic, character and physical achievements. The event was kicked off by recognized students who excelled in physical education throughout the past year.
During separate ceremonies for the morning and afternoon CTE sessions, students were recognized for a variety of achievements, including National Technical Honor Society status, industry certification milestones, perfect attendance, principal awards and several program-specific awards.
The Charles E. Riley Elementary School peace pole, which was recently planted, will link the school to other people around the world who are also trying to spread peace. Most peace poles have the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” The Riley School pole says “May Peace Prevail at CER (Charles E. Riley).
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Courtney Smith was presented with a scholarship to help further her education. Smith will be attending North Country Community College in Saranac Lake to study Radiology Technology.
The Pulaski Historical Society invites you to join them for something different for lunch one day a month. On July 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., you are invited to bring your lunch (or pick up some take-out at a local eatery) and come join us at the Carriage House at the Pulaski Historical Society.
The musical Tennessee Lee and the Curse of the Mummy had been in rehearsals since March and the students were ready to present this phenomenal evening of comedy and song to the community.
