District Governor Timothy Bush Visits Fulton Lions Club

Timothy Bush, district governor for Lions International District 20-Y-1, was the featured speaker at the Fulton Lions Club’s Jan. 15 meeting. Bush congratulated Fulton Lions Len Kellogg and Dr. Brett Tallents for reaching milestones of 30 and 20 years of membership, respectively. Fourth Graders At Lura M. Sharp Explore Native American Culture

The auditorium at Lura M. Sharp Elementary School recently transformed into a Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) village as fourth graders got a firsthand glimpse into the lives of Native Americans. For the students, who had just completed a unit on Native American studies, the Jan. 15 performance of “There Once was a Longhouse” reinforced the lessons they had learned in the classroom.
