A study done by the University of Scranton showed that about 45 percent of Americans make resolutions each year and that by six months into the new year, only 46 percent of those making resolutions have stuck to them.

Harborfest Welcomes New Officers, Board Members

Folks visiting the annual Oswego Harborfest celebration enjoy the food, music, fireworks, but aren’t necessarily aware of what it took to stage one of the largest admission free festivals in the nation. Executive Director Doug Buske said, “It takes a substantial number of people who possess a wide range of life experiences to organize and stage the annual event.”

RSVP Hosts Informational Session On Falls Prevention At Fulton Mills; All Are Welcome

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, will hold an informational hour on falls prevention at Fulton Mills Apartments on Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. The one-hour session will be conducted by Rachel Brooks, “Six Steps to Better Balance” instructor and “Osteo Bone Builders” master trainer.

Rotary Hosts Fulton Students

Each month, the Fulton Rotary Club invites two students from Fulton High School so that the students can learn how a service club helps the community and the Rotarians learn how the students are also helping our community.
